Everyone on nba Reddit and ESPN talking about Jokic “showing restraint” and the owner interfering with the match and he should have been kicked out of the game…
Do they just hate Phoenix that much that they are seeing that Jokic didn’t literally run over to rip the ball away from the guy on a dead ball play? Like… the ref has to get the ball to do the inbound, especially if a player is on the ground like Josh was. The whole “we were going to get a 5-on-4” argument Jokic made is nonsense since there was never going to be a chance at that play?
I didn’t want Jokic suspended or anything, I just think it’s crazy the amount of people acting like he was perfectly innocent on this whole situation. It was a weird situation that could have been handled better by Jokic just asking for the ball back and not barreling at a dude full-speed to rip it away from him.
I know y’all are probably sick and tired of this topic, but I just really don’t get what some outside fans saw in this whole situation. Tech plus fine is okay, them acting like he’s a perfectly innocent angel in this is not?
