Looking to buy a pair of quality sunglasses after years of gas station glasses, but overwhelmed at all the options
Post Body

I have always just worn cheap sunglasses with pretty much no consideration on style or shape or anything, but I'd like to buy a quality pair. I may be lying a bit, at one point I did own a pair of Ray-Ban new wayfarers, but it was only for a short bit and I lost them soon after.
I've been reading here And on Google And I'm confused at all the different sunglass options and styles. I have no idea what type of glasses would fit my face shape, or what style would look best. For some reason, it seems like all of the quality sunglasses are aviator style but those are my least favorite look, yet I don't even know why. I did like the look and feel of the Ray bans, although I think they may have been a bit too big for my face.

Is there a versatile style that can be worn for pretty much everything? I definitely don't want to own more than one pair.

Is there a universal "shape"? I think I like the rectangle, but oval seems Good as well. I've been looking at some Maui Jim's but there are just way too many options to choose.

I also saw people on here highly recommend Randolph engineering but those all seem like aviator style. I wouldn't even be completely opposed to aviators, I just always feel like a tool when I have them on..

Any recommendations would be appreciated
