A few weeks ago, I bought this plant from a local farmers market/garden center along with some others to put outside after I figure out a flower bed situation. I live in south eastern Virginia and like most of the U.S. it's been hot here. All the plants had trouble until I started watering more often. Everything else has mostly come back fine but the Sunflowers are still dry and not looking good. The soil is always moist and I've added some flowering plant fertilizer. Currently all plants are on a screened in porch on the sunny side of the house getting plenty of light. Any suggestions are appreciated.
always keep the soil moist but not too wet, ensure they get plenty of direct sunlight, and check for pests. They should bounce back with some patience. Good luck!
