primary ADC main looking to become a primary mid main. I need some help from you guys.

Hello fellow summoners.

I'm looking to become a mid main after maining ADC for over a year.

However, I need some help starting off:

What are some good (meta) champions in mid for me to learn?
When should I roam and when should I not?
How do I deal with hard matchups and/or assassins as a immobile mage?
What items are specifically good on which champions? (including defensive items)
Where should I ward to avoid as much ganks as possible?

Thank you in advance for helping, I'd love to become good at mid, so I can take every single tip I can get :D
