How do I play the jungle effectively in 6.9?

Hello fellow summoners, now with patch 6.9 hitting live I need to completely change my jungle playstyle, from trying to be a agressive ganker to more focusing on objectives.

Question is, HOW do I do this effectively? What champs to excell really well at this? What should I do if my teammates are in trouble in lane while the particular jungler I play is not a good ganker but great at objective control? When do I take the rift herald over dragon?

I hope somebody can help me out with this one, cause it seems really tricky for me to figure out.
