Hi everyone! I'm a low Gold Jungle/Mid main and I like playing strong carry champions. My champ pool currently is something like shyvana, ahri, syndra, ori, jax, and a few others. I was looking at picking up malzahar and playing around with him a bit, but I'd like to know more about him since I know he is a bit difficult to play.

My first question is, who is he a top counter too? What type of champs does he wreck (and team comps)

Second: Who is he weak to? He is a fairly tanky mage so I assume he can 1v1 very well, but I guess anyone who can gap close on him could probably fk him up pretty well.

My last question is why do you think malz is doing so well right now in the current meta (top win rate according to champion.gg) just because he's FOTM or are there other factors?
