Ok, something I was thinking about the other day. I was wondering why most people max out Q on yi first and E second. It seems to me that you deal more damage maxing E and using Q as your gap closer.
Im gonna napkin math this here, so its just a generalization.
Lets say you have 280 ad on yi.
Q at max level deals 165 100% AD = 445 (165 280)
E at max level gives your auto attacks bonus true damage (30 bonus 20% AD). Assuming 1.0 AS, (30 (280.20=56))=86 bonus damage each auto attack, ability lasts for 5 sec so 430 bonus true damage on top of your normal AA damage. so in this instance 2805=1400 physical damage 430 = 1830 damage.
I am not even factoring in the AS boost from his ult at all (80% more AS) . or Using a Q in addition to your insane AA damage from maxing E. Or his passive.
Am I wrong here? If I am, please explain. Seems like only reason to max Q first is just to lower the CD and thats only 4 seconds.
