Jumping into my placement matches on a new account. Is it okay to dodge unfavorable games?
Post Body

Hi guys,

So I was Gold 1 last season on another account, but I've since made a new account and I'm finally jumping into ranked after not having enough champions.

I've been getting extremely mixed feedback on if it's alright to dodge placement matches, the most popular answers were, no, it does not affect your MMR. I read that the only penalty is a time penalty when doing placements, and another post on SS said he kept on dodging unfavorable teams since the only real consequence was having to wait.

Some said it counts as two losses instead of just one, and another person told me dodging counts as a loss in your placements.

Anyone know the actual answer? Would be very helpful and much less stressful if I knew I could dodge games that might potentially end in a loss and hella frustration.
