So I made the mistake of playing ranked placement matches right when I hit 30. I'm quite good at mid with a variety of champions and had a solid win/loss ratio. I won my first few games and took a break for a few days. I came back to finish my placement matches 5 wins in 10 games, so I landed in Bronze I. A combination of bad/new teammates (Jax support?!) and poor DC timing (always allies, never myself) screwed over my last games.
So I played a couple games, all losses, and was demoted to Bronze II. Now, no matter what I do, I cannot win a game. I lose games so my MMR goes down. Because my MMR goes down, I don't get first-pick, so I'm forced to play second/third preferred roles (Top/Jungle). I can't carry myself as hard from these as I can from mid, so I end up losing games because the actual carries (mid/ADC) are terrible. So now I'm stuck in Bronze II, losing ~20 LP a game, and cannot bring myself out.
So my question to you is: How do I escape this? I just am not being put in the position where I can do well in these games. No matter how well I play, one good player can't carry four bad players. I'm about to just start up a smurf account and try again there because I don't see a way out of this trap and the people I get matched with in normals are just as bad. Are there some tips to getting out of this? Should I learn to play ADC, is it easier to carry there? Do I just need to play normals until I've got ~300 wins and try ranked again after? Thanks for your advice.
EDITS: Most of the (good) advice I've been given boils down to a few things:
focus on CS. Time spent trying to kill a lane opponent is time not spent CSing.
roam more. I don't usually roam until my tower goes down, but if I get an early kill I can try going to help other lanes immediately rather than waiting for tower.
Also, to clarify since people are apparently having a hard time reading this: I don't lose 100% of my games, nor do I blame 100% of losses on teammates. I am asking, very specifically, what to do in the cases where I'm trolled. Please don't read any more into this post than the words I'm saying.
