I'm kind of at a loss here; hopefully some helpful Kled mains can explain to me what the fuck I'm supposed to do against this champion. I've watched his champion spotlight like three times and read his wiki so in theory I understand but clearly in practice there is some galactic misunderstanding. At this point the only thing saving my high win rate is his low pick rate.
Firstly, I primarily play Kayle. I know he is strong early and I am strong late. I know he's going to have a heavy advantage in lane and I'm not expecting to be able to crush him, just to understand how the champion works so if an opening is presented I can capitalize intelligently. Currently the way I play the lane is typically like a massive unadulterated coward unless my jungler shows up and wants to try a play. I am naturally at a disadvantage early and I will outskayle of course. I just want to find a way to not lose as hard as I have been.
The biggest issue is the bait that every goddamn player of this champion does. You dismount him, his fucking horsie runs away, and he looks so weak and vulnerable and IN THEORY APPARENTLY HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE. And then in practice when I actually go in on him, his fucking horsie comes back IMMEDIATELY after he just lost it seconds earlier, he gets like half of his goddamn HP back instantly, and then kills me. This just happened in my last game with a level 3 gank from a Silas. Horsie lost, horsie comes back practically the same fucking nanosecond he left resulting in ridiculous health gain, enemy double kill. Lane lost at level 3.
What the fuck is the point of this champion's horsie mechanic if he's not actually vulnerable when he's off the horsie? Can someone clue me into something I'm missing? When is this champion vulnerable, how should I engage on him, how should I competently duel him (beyond just not getting hit by Q), how do I know when he is strong/is power spiking, etc.
Any help you guys can provide is appreciated! Thank you so much!!!
