The end of the world in bed?

Post Body

Hello everyone. I hope you are well. I was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a good apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic read? I sometimes find post apocalyptic themes cozy (the idea of solitude I suppose) and was wondering if you had any recommendations for something that will keep me awake at night, in a warm cozy bed this winter (I live in the opposite hemisphere to most of you) with a cup of tea and anticipation. I don't mind adult or mature themes at all but I just can't get myself to read sad/despressing work. Obviously some sadness in a story is natural, but nothing overly depressing please. Thank you for your time and happy reading.

EDIT: I love the stand. So something like that?
