What is the book that got you into reading/back into reading?

So, I’ve been trying to get back into reading. I used to read all the time, but for the past few years I’ve barely read anything and I can’t remember the last book I’ve read completely that wasn’t manga. I have had books that I’ve gotten into, but eventually stopped for some reason (last year I read half of Notre Dame de Paris and loved it, but I just stopped at some point).

Last time I really got into reading was A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin. After reading that, I kept reading more and more until a few years ago.

So what book had a similar effect on you that A Game of Thrones had on me?
