One of my friends recently asked me for suggestions for books to help her get back into reading. I gave her a few titles that I thought she would like but I wanted to see if I could find more that would be better suited to her here!
She has told me that in the past she's enjoyed detective / mystery books as well as thrillers and action. She does NOT like fantasy or things with a lot of worldbuilding and lore.
I've previously suggested to her to start off by breaking into middle grade novels as it helped me a lot to read middle grade stuff as it's easier to read when you're trying to get into it as a hobby. She seemed interested in the idea but being middle grade is by no means a requirement. Young adult and adult is definitely acceptable too.
Any help and suggestion would be appreciated, thank you!
