Edit: Seeing all of your responses has gotten me SO excited about books already.<3 Can't wait to start reading again!
Edit 2: Thank you so much for the recommendations everyone! I now have enough books recs to last a lifetime. Hope this thread helps other jaded readers like me reignite their love for reading. :)

I just finished my first year of grad school and one thing I've realized is that I'm often too mentally exhausted to even acknowledge that written text -- that's not riddled with jargon to the point where you have to google every third word -- exists.
I really want to rekindle my love for reading again, so I am looking for a light and airy book that will not make my head hurt after reading it. :)
Things I am not looking for:
- books that will make me feel old because the protagonists are in their teens (exceptions include books set in a dystopian universe, where the characters do not do the traditional teenage stuff; as an example, the maze runner series is OK.)
- non fiction, unless it is light and airy
- anything that will educate me seriously
- incredibly long books
Things I am looking for:
- feel good books
- page turners!!!
- books set in dystopian universes (not mandatory)
- funny books??? (actually indecisive about this)
- maybe a cute romance??? (equally as indecisive about this)
- series are OK
Thank you!
