Book with a protagonist who happens to smoke pot?

I don’t mean a book that focuses on being a stoner novel, I just mean a book where the usage of marijuana is either included or referenced throughout. I recently read Summer of ‘69 by Todd Strasser then Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson and enjoy hearing about the affects of drugs and psychedelics in books, but am having a hard time finding recommendations on a topic society has often viewed taboo.
