Post Body
I'm looking for a sad story which focuses less on the specific plot elements unique to the story, and more on a general Man vs. Fate theme, preferably counterbalanced with intimate (read as: dramatic) character interactions.
The Girl from The Other Side would be an example of the kind of book I'm looking for (not necessarily a graphic novel, although I would accept a graphic novel too), which presents a very down-to-earth depiction of two characters pressured by a curse which can slowly or suddenly deprive them of their senses, their memory, and eventually their lives.
Bonus points if the story features elements of dualism or eternal return.
