I'm looking for a post-future book, where humanity is only a shell of its former self, and the protagonists interact with technology they've never seen before
Post Body

I'm talking really far into the future- humanity has achieved monumental things, but those monuments have caused their downfall. All that remains is a small percent of people who have to explore a world that makes no sense to them. I've heard about Dune, and although I'll definitely give it a read, I don't think that it fits exactly what I'm looking for. For the gamers out there, think around the lines of Horizon Zero Dawn, but with less fighting and more exploring.

EDIT: Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions! I'll be looking at most, if not all, these books sometime in the future.
