My little sister just entered high school and has expressed some interest in starting to read more again.

She read Ender's Game and loved it, and expressed interested in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy so I'm getting her that. She says she likes sci-fi/fantasy, but still hasn't finished Harry Potter, and has no interest in it right now. She really like Hunger Games and any kind of YA dystopia novels.

She likes scary movies (thought It was more funny than scary), but I hate them, so I don't know where to start with scary books/Stephen King. It looks like a daunting book to get her since it's so big and she hasn't been interested until now.
