I'm looking for more classic sci-fi books, particularly any with writing that aged well. For example, I didn't enjoy reading A Stranger in a Strange Land because of how the male and female characters interacted, which I imagine might be viewed as a little or a lot sexist these days. I just couldn't get through it because of that.
But I don't mind if there is a little bit of sexism or other questionable views if it doesn't affect the story, or if the purpose of it being there is to be the opposition of the main themes/concepts presented.
I already have looked into some books, so I'll list them here if someone could tell me whether they fit my preferences.
