Captain Awkward, aka Jennifer Peepas, is one of my all-time favorite writers and thinkers. Her advice column has taught me so much about boundaries and emotional attachments, while making me laugh and being extremely moving, and I'm a better and more generous human for having found her site.
I know she's working on a book, and I do go re-read from the archives, but I'm looking for more.
Do you have books, fiction or non, that have the same style or make you feel the same hopeful satisfaction that reading Captain Awkward does? Doesn't have to be explicitly the same content or advice, I'm very open to similar vibes wherever they may come from. Thanks!!
