Hey! Iāve just jumped back into the world of reading and I am beyond excited to explore it again! I donāt know how I could ever leave it. I guess college and professional life made reading such a āmustā that it felt like a chore.
Iām currently reading āSometimes I lieā which is about a character who grapples with some childhood trauma and low self-esteem. Sheās in a coma and doesnāt know how she got there. She discovers that this was not an accident. She also finds that her husband is cheating on her with her sister. Iām really glued to it!
I know that this is a very specific request, but please bear with me! Iām enjoying this book because of how well I relate to the character. I like reading stories about someone who is struggling with low self worth/ childhood trauma/ toxic family relationships. I love how deep she does into expressing her feelings about herself and the people around her.
Could you recommend any other novels that have a similar theme? Iām almost done with this book and canāt wait for the next!
