Hi everyone, my dad's birthday is coming up and I thought about getting him a book. He's open to a lot of stuff but not really into fantasy/sci-fi. He prefers fiction books. In the past he used to read a lot of John Grisham's and Ken Follett's books. Here are some of the books I know he liked:
I Know This Much is True (Wally Lamb), the Dutch House (Ann Patchett), Five Little Indians (Michelle Good), Seek You: A Journey Through American Loneliness (Kristen Radtke - Graphic novel), Talking to Strangers (Malcolm Gladwell).
Some of the books he didn't like: Life of Pi (Yann Martel), the Alchemist (Paulo Coelho), Yellowface (R.F. Huang)
