I've been reading a lot of YA books in the post-apocalypse, futuristic dystopian, and fantasy genres recently, and I swear every last one of them ends up with a damn love triangle, especially if it's a female lead. I just started the Sequenced series and I'm most way through the first book and I almost threw my phone across the room. It's such an overused trope. Are there any books (preferably series) without that? I don't care if there's romance or relationships, or even if the main character ends up with multiple partners, I just really hate the "oh no two boys are in love with her and she must choose between them while simultaneously saving the world".
Thanks for any suggestions!
