I'm curious about what books people would recommend if I loved Dhalgren. 800 pages, incredibly dense, but it's written in a way that I would put near the opposite end of the spectrum from something like, say, Infinite Jest, Gravity's Rainbow, or maybe even Underworld by DeLillo. It has a very simple style that I really love, and i love long interesting books that let you fall into a vivid world for a while. So I guess what I'm asking is what are some postmodern books that are very long but written more accessibly, if that makes sense.
edit: i guess obnoxious is the wrong word but i cant change it now lol
