He currently started on Alex Rider based on a recommendation from my best friend on it being his sons favourite series. My son likes it but he says it’s no Percy Jackson.
Percy Jackson is his favourite series by a long shot and nothing has come close. I’d love to find him a new series that at least matches PJ to foster his reading. He’s drawn to screens but the PJ series kept his attention away from screens while he was reading them. We bought him a different Riordan series (heroes of Olympus) but he didn’t gel with it nearly as much as the PJ series.
