As per title, I have a particular interest in books discussing scandals. No interest in animals or nature. Not required, but I love books that are hardback. Fiction books that are written as if they are non fiction is also acceptable eg, a theoretical disaster.
I will also accept suggestions for mental health books but I’d prefer they document someone’s story or discuss mental health care, rather than books aimed at medical students.
Minimal interest in brand new books as I like to buy second hand.
Books I’ve seen so far that peak my interest:
- The Estate: My Life Working on the Front Line of Britain's Housing Crisis
- 102 Minutes
- Johnson at 10: The Inside Story
- Show Me the Bodies: How We Let Grenfell Happen
- Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Base
- Odd Girl Out: An Autistic Woman in a Neurotypical World
