So my PC suddenly stopped working at startup and won’t repair or do anything to fix itself. After many hours of diagnosis and trying to remedy it, it still acts up and won’t go back to the way it was a day ago. With my disappointment and upset feelings I decided to shop for a new computer. I had this current PC for more than 5 years as of now.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for me to check out online? Preferably, I need these options within my next purchase:
SSD required (I didn’t have one in my last model apparently); it also must be able to boot up super fast since my old one could never obviously do that efficiently enough
Solid for gaming and multimedia and internet browsing (not hardcore gaming but definitely semi-casual enough to handle most older titles and does not need to run modern ones since I have GeForce Now for cloud stuff)
GPU can be medium tier or lower, doesn’t affect me too much as I usually have cloud gaming enabled or I use some software programs to run stuff but it shouldn’t be something weak that can’t handle Steam or Discord or anything else I run simultaneously (I prefer easy multitasking), same for CPU requirements
Good enough RAM support and hardware usage to cover a long time of usage over the next 5-10 years or more
Budget that falls within the $300-700 range or so (nothing too cheap but not too expensive either)
Any of these known brands are acceptable (Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc). No heavy gaming specific brands or fancy ones since those typically cost a lot more up front. My last one was a Lenovo model if that matters.
Must be a desktop, no laptops please!
Thanks in advance :)
