Post Body

Hi guys, I wonder if you can help me find a decent PC with a preferred max spend of £1000 but maybe can stretch if the performance gains worth it.

The PC would be used for audio production in Cubase with a combination of vst plugins and outboard hardware. I have a Roland Octacapture for the interface. Outside of music I would be using the PC as a general browser and for watching films. If the PC could output 4K, great, but I can always use a usb stick in my tv as I do now. Gaming is a non issue so GPU is not needed.

Grunt is the main thing. So as fast a CPU as allows and as much and as fast ram as possible. Storage would need to be about 1TB and I can move my current old HDD to increase storage.

I'm not in a terrible rush so if you believe I am better waiting please advise.

Thanks in advance
