So what are some phrases (other than the obvious like platonic) you roll your eyes at when you see them in text or profiles that make you block or move on?

In the spirit of staying positive - let’s try to suggest more honest phrasings.

Here are some of mine….

“Time is money” - I will charge you by the minute and never look you in the eyes or remember your name unless I read it on my phone “I know my worth” - I have no idea how this works, but I intend to ask you for all of the money and provide you with nothing but my company “We are two flight attendant friends from [a town] looking for fun on layovers to [your town]” - I’m in a call center overseas and desperately need to make some money by scamming you - please send me some gift cards
