Note: I am not a special SB. I'm 5'5, slightly larger, linebacker-esque build, but I like to think my personality pulls through.
My preferred mode of holiday travel to visit my family is by car rather than air. This preference is not rooted in aviophobia but rather in the pragmatic consideration of cargo capacity, control, etc. The ability to transport a greater volume of personal belongings, gifts, and other necessary items significantly outweighs the marginal time savings offered by air travel. Plus, I have this thing where I can't drive for super long stretches at a time, so breaking up the trip is a must.
This particular weekend entails a journey from my current residence to my parents' home, with an intermediate stop in an HCOL area. In a gesture of spontaneous generosity, my SD secured a suite with amazing views for both the outbound and return portions of this trip.
Right now, I'm just chilling in my room, still a little sleepy, with a fresh cup of coffee that was delivered right to my door, and I'm just like… how did I get so lucky?! He's not even here with me, and I'm still being completely spoiled and feeling so loved and cared for.
Is this what an SR is actually like? Is this the real deal? I am obsessed.
