I’ve noticed a trend lately where I’ll be talking to someone for a day or two, conversation will be really great. We might even FaceTime or hop on a call- we talk openly about expectations and alignment, and we set a date to meet. It seems like everything is going well, and I’m looking forward to the meet up.
But then they back out just before meeting. Or, we go on one date, things are really nice, they ask me out on a second date, and then that’s when they back out.
Of course, I understand that some men really just get off on getting attention from a woman, but I’m curious if there are some other reasons why this might be happening. My initial thought is that maybe they don’t actually have the financial means to provide what they’re saying they can? But I’d be curious to see if there are some other thoughts on the phenomenon.
