I’ve had a couple of situations where a potential SD has had to cancel last minute. In one situation I was at home and he cancelled around 3pm on the day of the date, the other guy cancelled when I was had just parked my car and was on my way to meet him.
These were both platonic M&G dinners to check out out in person chemistry…but we had aligned on the financial aspects of a potential arrangement
I interact with C-suite in my day job, so I know that sometimes things come up, but I’m also a bit miffed that I had carved this time out and could have been doing something else.
Both of these guys have said ‘l’ll make it up to you’, and both have suggested another time for dinner, at the same place they had originally booked.
In my mind, I don’t think that re booking the date that they cancelled is ‘making it up’ to me… and I being unreasonable?
