It’s about my ex SR. We ended a few months ago, wasn’t a good end. But we stayed in touch. Last month, it was her birthday and I sent her gifts and some cash. I wished her birthday in the early morning.

Two weeks ago, she asked if I’m interested in the SR with her again. I was, but the way she approached with the proposal put me off. I was in a work meeting when she texted to ask for SR and I said I will talk to you in the evening. She said not interested then. And we didn’t exchange any text after that.

It was my birthday yesterday and she didn’t even send me a text wishing birthday.

I felt upset. I feel it comes across as immature on my side feeling upset about it. I feel I sent a lot of gifts on her birthday just a month ago when we were not even in SR, and she didn’t even care to send me birthday wish. Thoughts came to mind sending her text telling you forgot my birthday but I stopped as actions spoke louder than words. Would you send her text saying this? Am I acting immature?

PS: I was attached to her for sure. PPS: I sent her almost equal to her monthly allowance as gift.
