I’ve been in the "bowl" for a few years now (47 SD.) Like most of us here, I’ve had some truly amazing arrangements, and others that I’ve learned a lot from. It’s been a journey, and I’ve been doing some soul-searching lately about what I want moving forward.
While I enjoy the sugar lifestyle, I’m starting to question the lack of stability that comes with it. I’ve been wondering if many sugar relationships naturally evolve into more stable, transitional relationships—what I’d call "sugar lite." The idea of something that blends the best of both worlds—mutual enjoyment, support, but also some emotional depth and longevity—has been on my mind.
That said, I’m unsure if it’s best to be upfront about being marriage-minded. Would that be a turn-off for most? Or would it just attract people who might not be genuine and only looking to take advantage? I want to find a balance where I can enjoy the lifestyle while also keeping the door open to something more meaningful if the connection is right.
Has anyone else navigated this? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
Thanks in advance!
