My first SR was an accident. It lasted about a year. Sometime after it ended I found this sub, and in July I made a seeking account.

Forgetting about the scammers for a second, the majority of what’s left after scammers seem to be men who just want to throw their money and their dick around. They think they have something I automatically want. They treat the getting to know you phase like a job interview where sexual objectification is allowed!

I’m busy, I enjoy my work, my rent is not a problem, and I love my life. I do not need to sugar. I’m a 39yo hottie looking for my salt and pepper unicorn. I’m no supermodel or LA 10, but I’m in LA and I have no storage of suitors and pots.

I use seeking bc I’m attracted to older men, and protector and provider types. These dudes are not that and you can tell from the jump. I’m looking for a high class sugar romance, not an offer of Netflix and chill. And what’s with all the jetski photos? Is that like the equivalent of the fish photos on vanilla sites??

I’ve been on a few M&Gs (everyone’s been a gentleman luckily, so my vetting is pretty good), I have freestyled with some moderate success (a few pot phone numbers) but nothing has clicked yet. I don’t really have time to get dolled up and drive out to Beverly Hills or Burbank all the time just to sit at the bar and look pretty. I haven’t given up but I’m more in the “if it happens it happens” mindset.

I see so many posts lately of very young women who want to sugar bc they are desperate for the money, and I’m afraid for y’all. I would not have been prepared for this lifestyle at 18 or even 21, it takes years to learn to keep yourself safe from predators and identify manipulators. It took me years to understand my worth and the quality of partnership (and sex) that I offer, which is high. I absolutely will not settle. And you shouldn’t either.

For the ladies and for the men too: DO NOT SUGAR OUT OF DESPERATION
