And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there I'll tell you how I became a SUGAR BABYš¤š»ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Okay for real lmfao I had to Iām sorry š story time!!
So Alright, hereās how it all went down. I wasnāt out there actively looking for a sugar daddy. I actually have a long term-boyfriend whom I love my life with and even have several business together :) itās pretty freaking amazing actually. Weāve got our hands full with our house cleaning business, plus our side hustle in insurance sales. Lifeās all about balancing those different hustles, right? š even if that means team no sleep! š© wellā¦ a few months ago I had a booking request for another regular residential cleaning. He booked me through my usual channelsānothing out of the ordinary. The place was nice, and he seemed like a decent guy. As Iām going about my work, he strikes up a conversation. You know how people like to chat to fill the silence? Well, this was differentā¦ We werenāt just talking about the weather or some random stuffāhe started telling me stories about his business. Like, deep, real stories. And before I knew it, I was hooked. Iām standing there, broom in hand, actually listening. And just fyi Iām a May Taurus so it takes a lot to get me to stand quiet and listen š¤£ At some point, I mentioned that I also work in insurance sales. It was like a lightbulb went off for him. He got super interested, asking me questions, and suddenly, weāre having this whole deep conversation about work, about the hustle, and about what it takes to get ahead. Honestly, it was refreshing to talk to someone who actually got it. He didnāt seem like he came from money but has what he has all from his own hard work. (It was like the best free mentorship š) Fast forward a bit, and we kept in touch. At first, it was just casualātexts here and there, checking in, asking how things were going. But we started talking more, and I found myself looking forward to our conversations. He had so much experience and insight and every time we talked, I learned something new! It wasnāt just surface-level stuff either.. it felt like we were both learning from each other. I always have a lot to say and ask so Iām surprised he wasnāt over it š okay are you ready?? Here came the twist. After another cleaning he handed me an envelope. Now Iām just thinking, āOkay, hereās my payment for the cleaning,ā but when I opened it š¤Æš¤Æ it was more than that. I was shook. And tucked inside was a note āKeep doing what youāre doing.ā WTF!? Iām always the giver so this was literally out of this world. I didnāt know if I should accept it or not, show excitement, be calm and cool? IDK!? š¤£ do I give you a big hug? š¤¦š¼āāļø seriously I donāt know what hit me harder!? the gesture or the fact that he wasnāt trying to make it transactional. He wasnāt just a client anymore.. he saw what I was trying to build and wanted to support me. Me!? š So, we started meeting up twice a month.. not for work, just to hang out, grab coffee, and talk about life, business, and everything in between. Heād tell me about his work, and Iād tell him about mine, whether it was insurance or the fact that I do content creation with my bf. And you know what? He respected it all. Iām over here like who sent you!? š so yeah while thereās financial support, I wouldnāt say thatās the focus. Itās really been about two people vibing and pushing each other to succeed. š Every time we meet, itās like I walk away with a new perspective, a new piece of wisdom I didnāt even know I needed. And to be honest, itās been a huge part of helping me grow, both personally and professionally. :)
Soooooo, for anyone out there wondering if the right sugar daddy situation existsāit does!!! Sometimes it comes out of nowhere, and itās more about connection and support than anything else. And for the sugar daddies reading this š¤š» donāt just look at the surface. If sheās working hard, support that hustle. Trust me, it makes all the difference. :)
