Newbie Question

Well, thought I had something for a minute there. Really good connection. Talked for hours. We’re making plans to meet up.

And then… turns out it was a catfish 😭

I started getting a whiff that something wasn’t quite right. As soon as I asked for any kind of verification, she made some excuses for a couple days and then just vanished.

I realize I may be a little too trusting at times. How early do you all ask for verification? Or do you just let the M&G happen/not happen and let that be the only verification? I’ve done that in the past and was stood up, which felt pretty shitty.
