Real connections hurt !

I have been a sugardaddy for a few years now and I have always preferred connection and long term arrangement ! Just want to say that break up with Sugarbaby is as hurtful emotionally as a real relationship ! How can I reduce the risk of pain and heartbreak moving forward? Have only short term arrangements ? Have multiple sugarbabies ? Not be emotionally involved? Would love to hear the perspective of other sugarbabies and sugardaddies !
