This explanation is going to sound odd, but before you jump to the idea of scam or whatever just don’t. Anyways, SD sent a pic of one of his cards. It’s a Spark Business Capital One Card. Obviously it’s under his name, but the number it’s connected to is only accessible by the CEO of the business written on the card. I have the CEO’s number (given to me by SD to text for confirmation code). Before you jump to the idea of a scam, I already looked up the company and the guys name. The names match, the numbers match–relax! For clarity, the CEO of this company is partnered with my SD as they’re in the same industry, but he is not his boss.
Anyways, I’ve been placing low xxx orders on Amazon (personal items), but almost every time it asks for verification to process these orders! I‘ve texted the guy once (this was the first time I mentioned the issue to SD and he told me to text his buddy) and verified an order. I was able to make 4-5 orders only verifying once but I ran into the issue again today. I don’t want to keep on texting him, it’s embarrassing and I don’t know him. My SD was very trusting of me by sharing this guys info, and claims that because they’re good friends he won’t care, but still.
Basically daddy is going on a business trip Monday and I just feel so shy/embarrassed to bring up this tedious stuff when clearly he was just trying to do something sweet for me by giving me this card to use when I need. I don’t want to abuse it because I know I’m lucky, but I still want to be able to enjoy it more!
