Do you keep in contact with a former SD or SB? There are a lot of reasons to not have any contact and I have those (and more than likely, they don't want to hear from me too!).

Over the last few years I had a couple SB relationships (not at the same time!) that gave me great advice, meaningful conversations and yes, mutually fun private times. While the relationship ended, once in awhile I send a gift card to them for a place they enjoy (Nordstrom, Starbucks, Amazon, etc.). They didn't ask or have any expectations. They express their appreciation with a text back or a picture of them smiling too.

I enjoy making someone's day a bit better and yes, feels good that they appreciate it.
