Hi! Just to preface: I’m not and have never been in the sugaring scene. I admire the sugaring dynamic for how uncomplicated it can be, however I’m not sure if my personal needs would fit within the expectations.

It might be a long shot, but I’m in the market for a traditional, long term relationship leading to a family with the right person. It’s harder to find a man with a provider mindset in the regular dating scene.

It’s worth mentioning that I’ve also been searching in kink adjacent spaces. My kink is being of service as a submissive. As you might guess, it attracts a lot of men who are takers. I’m a giver looking for another giver who would reciprocate in a different love language - gift giving and stability.

Is sugaring something worth looking into? Or is there an unspoken rule that neither parties should develop feelings for each other? I would also add that I’m very monogamous and that I wouldn’t consider a dynamic to be strictly transactional without feeling at least infatuated for him.
