Are people just shooting their shot on Reddit?

When people post profile reviews here and DON”T hide their locations 🤦🏽♀️ It just feels like they are trying to get POTs from Reddit lol. Not like there is anything wrong witih that but it always feels like a violation of this subreddit and it’s always a little cringe. Does anyone else feel this way?
