I've said it before and this time im posting about it. People are too quick to ghost. Met a beautiful woman on WYP. We messaged a few days, then graduated to text. The exchanges were always pleasant, I keep the conversation minimal. After more than a month of chatting/scheduling conflicts we finally set a date. And against my own rules, I offered to sponsor a pre M&G pedicure. The conversation was going that well. I pause the story to say all of my pictures both on the site and the ones we exchanged are all recent and unedited. The conversation didn't share the same vibe in person. I was definitely nervous, I really liked this one. After dinner, we went for a very short walk along the water then she ordered an Uber. I had given her a card with more than she was expecting right when she arrived. Then I made my hour plus ride home, and sent the thank you i made it gome safely message. No response It's now 24 hours and nothing. A quick thanks for everything but it's not for me, or even something specific would have been well received and appreciated. I know some will give all the cliche answers. There are plenty of fish, or better now than later, or you won this one, you just don't know it. But still the zero response eats me alive.

I will say that I'm 6 months post long term arrangement ended badly, so maybe I'm more sensitive.
