Hi! I’m a relatively new SB (23F) who just moved back to nyc after graduating from undergrad. I’m from nyc originally but have never sugared here or had a formal arrangement in general. I’m on Seeking and SDM, but I wanted to see if people had advice on standing out and getting to the initial meet and greet. For context, I’m Black (which I noticed has a bit of bearing in this arena), I’m very well educated (went to an Ivy for whatever that’s worth, I personally don’t care that much I was just always a nerd and that school was the best fit for me etc.), I’m also well traveled and come from a stable home, have great friends, work life balance, passions, and am generally excited about life.
I know you have to sift through a lot of salt/splenda/general scammers, but would love advice for my region in particular and for being a non-white/Black SB. I don’t pay too much attention to race but I’m not dumb and know it means something. So I’m curious about how to not let that get in the way!
