Single SDs, why in the bowl vs vanilla dating?

Newly single and already have a SB/GF but need a 2nd. I'm only really interested in SBs close to my age (late 30s) and not really sure if the bowl is still right for me.

I signed up for Tinder and Bumble and got a bunch of matches, talked to some but just not feeling it.... It's just not the same. Am I just spoiled from Seeking or is it all in my head?

Over the past couple weeks the matches on tinder/bumble are hotter and like have legit careers and all that. I'm like intimidated.

Also is it normal to feel like I can meet SBs and just not care what happens vs on vanilla sites actually feel like I need to put in effort?
