I’m certain I’m not the only SB who gets annoyed when they get a notification about a new message on Seeking, and it’s just a private photo request.

No offering your own private photos first. Not even a “hey, how’s your Thursday going?”

The first thing I think when this happens is: ”what are you offering in exchange?”

You haven’t sent a message or shown your own pics, so an out of the blue request makes me automatically suspicious. If you are seeking a mutually beneficial arrangement, start off on the right foot and offer something first. (And no, I don’t mean offering money before the meet and greet)

I know myself and many other SBs put a lot of thought into our profiles and messages. Mine has multiple different conversation starters intended to get a message going for the uninspired- Is a warlock just a D&D sugar baby? What was the last concert you went to? Where’s the best spot for a sweet treat in town?

If you don’t want the benefits you receive to be lazy, don’t be lazy and start off with a good impression! If you’re feeling too drained by all the bots and scammers to do that, you might need to take time away. There are consequences to the way you behave when you feel jaded that you may not be aware of until you’ve had time and space to adjust your mindset.
