I just wanted to share a positive experience. I received a private message on here back in September responding to a post I had created discussing if it was wrong to be picky. He suggested support saying he was picky too and was very uplifting, regardless of the amount of backlash I had received on the post. He displayed warmth, intelligence, and empathy. He grabbed my curiosity in a flash!

We moved to a separate messaging forum agreeing to exchange photos acknowledging that we both could be completely uninterested. He was out of my typical age range and I was out of his. It was immediate attraction to both of our surprises. We chatted for a bit and moved to a call shortly after. I adored his warmth, kindness, and spirit. He was an amazing human, made me laugh, shared similar interests, and we shared mutual attraction.

We continued to communicate until November when we met. It was by far the most comfortable meet and greet I had ever had. The evening flowed magically.

We have continued communication almost daily since. He has been a great support emotionally, a great mentor, my biggest cheerleader, an amazing friend, and is always super thoughtful. How he takes care of me is endearing and feels so natural. We add to each other’s lives and our main goal is growth from this experience.

I truly feel full when we communicate and I feel comfortable and safe when I am with him. It doesn’t feel like work and doesn’t exhaust me. He is a person who truly deserves all good things in this world and I feel so blessed to be a part of his. He has helped me during the end of a relationship, gives me context guidance to pondering questions I have, sent me good reads on exploring knowledge, and brings me a smile. We have an unconditional respect for boundaries as it is not monogamous, he encourages my exploration of sugaring, dating, and finding the valuable love I deserve. We talk on the phone for hours when we make time.

We will be seeing each other again soon!

It is truly possible to find good people on here, even if you are picky 😝. Things sometimes come into your life when you aren’t expecting. I joined this forum for guidance, good reads, and to understand the world of non-traditional dating at a deeper level from other experiences. I Never thought a Reddit post would have brought such a great addition of a human into my life.
