I just had to block a 60 year old who communicated with eyeroll emojis when I tried to set boundaries; another who kept texting at 1 am despite being asked not to.
I've noticed the guys I have issues with most, have never struggled. Not really. I don't just mean money, either. Empathy goes a long way and some of these guys never got that memo. On the other hand, my first SD was a blue collar guy who "made it"; never finished HS but cheered me on and supported me going back to (grad) school; 2nd SD was career military; 3rd SD was the child of holocaust survivors. I cared for and respected them because they did the same.
Rant over....thanks for listening
Edit - will block anyone who DMs about this post. I'm not interested
