This SB was one of the first women I ever met on Seeking all the way back in 2016. We only saw each other a few times because she was always hitting me up for money so I told her that I moved out of state. I messaged her again in April 2020 to see what she was up to. I ended up sending her some money through paypal to help her with a move, but I never saw her. She hit me up again for some money, so I stopped replying to her.
Her last message to me was in April 2021. She said she was able to find a job, took the LSATs, and was going to apply for law school. Things were looking up, but she needed help with rent and her mom stopped talking to her after her mom got remarried. I thought it was another ruse to get money from me, so I ignored her text. I never hear from her again.
I decided to look her name up on google today and the first thing that came up was her obituary. She died in June 2021, two months after she last texted me. She was only 25. I couldn't find anywhere how she died, it wasn't in the news or anything. I'm wondering if she died by suicide or drug overdose and if I would have answered her text if she would be alive today. I'm in a little bit of shock right now.
Edit: I just found her mom's facebook profile through hers, and someone mentioned that she didn't know she had a health problem. I don't know if she really did have a health problem that caused her death, but it would be better than something that was preventable like suicide or a drug overdose.
