Possible adoption - single glider?
Post Body

A friend of mine has a single glider that she has been looking to find an adopter for for awhile - and after doing some research, I think I would be able to put in the time and effort to effectively care for one.

My problem is this - I know that they are supposed to live in pairs (and above) because they are colony creatures, however I don't think I'd be able to adopt another to accompany it. Is this okay? My logic is that it has been living alone for some time now (not sure of the age) and I'd be able to give it more time & attention than the current owner.

Also, will it be able to bond with me? Or is the only primary bondee the first owner?

Thanks for the help!

Edit: the glider is a 6 year old male.
